Our team of Project Leaders donate their time + energy so that we are able to offer a robust calendar of In-Person + At-Home family volunteering projects on an ongoing basis. Becoming a Project Leader is a great way to spend time with your kids + have them see you leading this next generation of kind kids.

Ways to Help:
Our volunteer opportunities are designed with FAMILIES in mind! They are both flexible + low in time commitment. Project Leader opportunities will be posted on an ongoing basis on our Volunteer Portal.
At this time, we are seeking:
In-Person Project Leaders
Lead our 60-90 minute In-Person projects. We provide supplies, snacks + a lesson plan; YOU just need to lead it!
Porch Drop Coordinators
Collect our At-Home projects as a Porch Drop site, count donations + deliver to Crafting Kind Kids.
Ambassadors
Attend community events to represent CKK, outreach to groups/troops/schools about our programs.

FAQs about being a Project Leader
Do I need to have kids to participate?
No! We welcome grandparents, responsible teens + college students. Although volunteering alongside your kids is a great way to spend QT together.
When are Project Leader opps listed?
We post Project Leader opportunities on an ongoing basis, once they are confirmed on our calendar. Once you register + pass a background check, you will gain access to our Volunteer Portal.
I'm new to TFV. Should I attend an event first?
Familiarity with our projects is helpful. If you are new to TFV, we encourage you to drop into one of our in-person projects so you can see what we're all about + consider becoming a
Co-Leader first.
I want to get involved! What are the next steps?
Please complete our Project Leader Application form. We will then contact you with Background Check information (at no cost to you) + a 15 minute training video to watch.
Do I still pay a Family Registration Fee if I am a Parent Volunteer?
No! Families who lead our In-Person projects can attend projects without cost.
